Quitting is Dangerous

recite-9lt221

The desire to quit arises in the midst of uncomfortable, unpleasant, and undesirable times.

*See “God Doesn’t Want You to Quit” for a definition on what it means to quit.

Here are some reasons why quitting is dangerous:

  1. Quitting causes you to have to relearn lessons you could have learned when you were in the midst of the season you were in.
  2. Quitting removes you from continuing with much needed preparation.  Maybe you’re at a point where if God gave it to you right now, you wouldn’t be able to maintain it because you haven’t finished the preparation necessary to sustain it. You can get prepared now or get prepared later, but preparation is necessary.
  3. Quitting deprives others from experiencing what God has gifted you to do.

You have a promising present and future in God.  The season you are going through is only temporary.
