Album of Life

blank-vinyl-record-jacket-2924018_1920There is a lot that goes into creating an album.  You have to think about a potential producer, song lyrics, song selection, song order, possible collaborations, how the album flows from one song to the next, and what overall story your music is going to tell.  You have to set your expectations for the project and define your goals.  Overall, there is a lot of intentionality in both the details and the larger vision.  However, the album is also an expression of the one who made it.

If your life was an album, what would be the names of the songs/tracks on it?  Now is not the time to go through a catalog of all of the music that has been written to date.  Rather, think of this as a creative opportunity to outline your own personal testimony using song titles that you create.

I don’t know about you, but my album would have to be a deluxe edition given all of the songs that I planned for it.  I can see it now.  My new album is entitled, “Dimensions and Hymnals”  and somewhere in the middle of this album are my songs:

-Never Saw the Road, but Knew the Way
-Tithes and Offering
-Journey to the Comeback
-Rerouting (Interlude)
-The Look Back (All Worth It)
-This is My Confidence

What about you?  What album are you creating?

Blessings and Love,
Purpose Over Fear
