Welcome back for Week 3 of Pep Talk Wednesdays!  This week’s topic is: God is in Control.

Think about the following:

Since God is in control, trust that He knows best.  This includes in times when things don’t go according to your plan.  This also includes when what you get is not what you thought you needed or when you wanted it.  Things can easily be unclear and confusing right now, but they don’t have to stay that way.

God is in control, which means He will make decisions that you may not agree with or fully understand.  God is in control, which means His timing and your timing may not match.  God is in control, and He loves you.  He loves you!  God, the one who is in control of everything, loves YOU!

What area in your life are you trying to control without God?  I encourage you to stop trying to play God.  Believe that God can (and will) handle whatever it is, but also show through your actions that you are turning over that issue, that worry, that concern, that decision, that frustration, that question, and/or that uncertainty over to God right now.
